Silk Nail Whattt?

Ever heard of SILK NAIL WRAP? It's the latest craze in the US and Europe. Why would you want to have a Silk Nail Wrap you may ask.. It is like a better substitute to the acrylic nails - and to make your nails as strong as possible too.

But what is it? It is basically a synthetic silk or fibreglass material that is added to the fingernail to strengthen, lengthen or even repair the nails. You can either do it in the nail salons or at home (there are kits for D.I.Y). But if it is your first time doing it, i would suggest that you let the experts at the salons to do it for you.

Silk nail wrap provides better flexibility compared to acrylic nails. Your nails will also look thinner and more natural. It is also a helathier choice since the fibers in the wrap allow the nail to breath (yea, nails breath too...) so no fungus will grow in between the nails and the wrap (could happen in the case of acrylic nails... yea i know, yuck!)

Silk wrapped nails also can be polished and manicured just like our regular nails. However, these wraps are not for people whose jobs require a lot of hand activities or submersed in the water for a long period of time or the wraps will come loose and fall off.

So what do you think of this Silk Nail Wrap so far?
