Chanel Footwear
A woman´s first love are her shoes! They mold to fit her, and don´t talk back. What more could you ask for? They are better than your guy! Shoes show off your style, your personality, and are your visible signature, they are you! Among some of the most loved women's shoes are Chanel. This designer collection is the epitome of style, elegance, and class.

Chanel Shoes

The Chanel line is beautiful, traditional and elegant. The Chanel shoe collection is comfortable, elegant, chic and one of the highest status symbols around. Although this year's popular colors tend to be yellow, orange, and pink, Chanel has not gone all out on the trend, but kept their classic style with neutral colors. They have managed to keep up with this years new shoe trends by going white (another "IN" color this year).

Another new trend on the Chanel runway, just as on other runways is the use of "DUAL." By dual we mean mixing of fabrics, materials, colors and patterns. Although Chanel has followed this new trend, they always, always remain classic in style and use all leather materials. The Chanel shoe usually comes with black leather insole. Chanel believes that the black interior gives the shoe a better silhouette.

A great look, which hasn't been around for some time, is a woven look with an organic earthy look, which is very attractive for the summer months.

Metallics are also in style and are an excellent choice when you need that just right touch for that cute evening look. You can find evening heels in metallic colors, as well as the well-loved loafer.

You might want to try some of the new florals. Many of this years dress shoes will have some type of floral embellishment.

Celebrities Who Wear Chanel

Chanel has always been a favorite of the celebrities. Chanel knows how to design shoes and the style fits most celebrity's look. Among some of the most ardent admirers are Hilary Swank, and Cameron Diaz.

Chanel has always been a hit with celebrities. There's just something about Chanel's incredible shoe designs that scream celebrity style and continue to impress celebrities season after season. Some of the most famous celebrities seen wearing Chanel's renowned designs include Hilary Swank, Lindsay Lohan and Cameron Diaz.

Chanel the Way to Go?

Every woman knows that when you want an elegant classy look then Chanel is the way to go when you need that extra touch of chic, but don't want to be too crass or too trendy.

The Chanel Story

Today Chanel is among the top fashion designer houses in the world, but in truth Chanel had very humble beginnings. She was born Gabrielle Chanel, way back in 1883. When she was very young her mother passed away, and because her father could not care for her, he gave her up. Chanel grew up in an orphanage in Correze. But much later in 1921 she became well known for her perfume CHANEL #5. Throughout her life she developed women's clothing, fragrances and accessories including their now famous shoe line.

Chanel became famous and her designs have remained that way ever since. Before she died in 1971, Coco Chanel, had her line well established with just the right Chanel look. And the footwear she also designed was and still is designed with that classic and sophisticated look

Borrow Your Handbags, Accessories And Jewelry by Rob James II

THIS IS INTERESTING!!
When it comes to the latest designer handbags, jewelry and accessories there is a hot new trend: borrowing them from exchange web sites. Some are calling it "luxury on loan".

Savvy fashion-conscious women are discovering that it's not expensive to always be wearing and carrying handbags, accessories and jewelry that have just hit the market from the best designers. These women are taking advantage of borrow/exchange web sites and basically renting the most desirable and enviable products and they are looking great! When they want another handbag, accessory or jewelry they simply exchange what they've borrowed with something hotter. And they are getting noticed by their family, friends, co-workers and every green-with-envy eye on the street.

Here's how it works: you browse to borrow/exchange web sites and select the handbags, accessories and jewelry that they want. The selection on some of these sites is incredibly vast, everything from Prada, Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Coach, Fendi, Burberry and more. Some sites even offer the most sought after couture pieces and rare vintage products. Once your items are selected you check-out and select the shipping method of your choice (next-day, 2nd day, ground, etc.). Your item arrives and you can enjoy it for as long as you want (rental fees are charged based on how long the item is "borrowed"). When you are ready to select another item you send the current item back (with the included pre-paid shipping) and select your next item.
Now, you might be worried about what would happen if the bag, accessory or jewelry were lost or damaged. To protect your self against this you can get inexpensive insurance on any of the items that you borrow. This will provide you with peace-of-mind and let you concentrate on impressing rather than worrying.

Some of the very best borrow/exchange sites offer membership benefits. Typically you'll save significantly when you borrow items if you join as a member. Additionally you'll get priority access to new arrivals and be placed higher in the queue for the most popular items if you are wait-listed.

Some other desirable features to look for in a borrow/exchange site would be "match-maker" and/or advisor services to assist you in selecting the most appropriate items based on your preferences and lifestyle. With the selection being so vast these features will certainly come in handy. And you should look for the ability to actually purchase any of the borrowed items that you simply fall in love with. Finally, you should look for rewards programs so you can earn credit that you may apply towards future borrowing and/or purchases.

So, if you've got a special occasion coming up and you want to wear and carry something sensational, or you just want to pamper yourself everyday with the hottest designer handbags, accessories and jewelry (because you do deserve it after all) then you should check out borrow/exchange programs available on the internet. Nothing could be easier and so favorably add to your overall look and the impression you give.

Choosing the Right Makeup Color for You by Latetcia Phillips

What color family is right for you? Does your skin have cool, warm, or neutral undertones?
You have cool undertones if:
Your skin is: pink, rosy, beige, or brown. Your hair is: soft shade of brown or blonde, or dark brown or black. And your eyes are: blue, gray, or black-brown.
You have warm undertones if:
Your skin is: golden or olive. Your hair is: golden or red. And your eyes are: green or brown.
You have neutral undertones if you have a balance between warm and cool undertones. Most people have neutral undertones.
If you have cool undertones, then you should choose your colors from the cool color family. The cool color family is your pinks and roses and includes pinks, roses, fuchsias, violets, lavenders, grapes, cherries and wines. Pinks and roses are good for cool to neutral skin tones.
If you have neutral undertones, then you should choose your colors from one of the neutral color families. Mauves and berries are considered neutral. Mauves and berries include: mauves, berries, plums, burgundies, lilacs, and cranberries. Mauves and berries are good for cool to neutral skin tones but leans more toward neutral.
Corals and reds are also considered neutral. Corals and reds include: peaches, corals, oranges brownish reds, tawnies, apricots, and all shades of red except for the bluish reds which are considered cool. Corals and reds are good for neutral to warm skin tones but leans more toward the neutral.
If you have warm undertones, then you should choose your colors from the warm color family. The beiges and browns are considered warm colors and includes: browns, bronzes, golds, mochas, taupes and spices. Beiges and browns are good for warm to neutral skin tones.
Now that you know more about skin undertones, you have the knowledge to pick the perfect makeup color for your skin. Have fun experimenting with your new colors!

Makeover Magic by Latetcia Phillips

10 items to have ready for your makeover are: concealer foundation powder base and accent eye shadows eyeliner brow pencil or powder blush mascara lip liner lipstick

TIP: Concealer hides or covers up any skin imperfections like under eye circles and blemishes. You should choose a shade that's slightly lighter than the skin tone.

APPLICATION: Start with a small amount, adding more as needed. Starting at the inner corner of the eye, pull outward and upward on the color with a sponge, being careful not to pull or tug on the skin. For blemishes dab on blemish with even pressure.

TIP: Foundation evens out skin tones, protects skin from the environment, and provides a smooth base for other makeup products. Match the skin tone as closely as possible using the edge of the jaw line. Be careful not to apply too much; too much can look unnatural.

APPLICATION: Apply to the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. Then using a sponge gently blend down until the foundation becomes invisible. Never apply below the jaw line. After a few minutes, check to see if the foundation turns colors, if it does you will need to use a different shade or color.

TIP: Powder helps set makeup, reduce shine, and blends for a finished look. Select a slightly lighter shade than the foundation.

APPLICATION: Using a puff or powder brush, gently dip into the powder. Give it a tap to shake off any excess. Then with a light dusting action apply across the forehead, down the nose, across the cheeks and down to the chin.

TIP: Eye shadow accents and defines the shape of the eye. The base eye shadow highlights and the accent eye shadow adds depth, drama and definition. Choose a light-to-medium color to highlight and a medium-to-dark to accent. Always choose a shade in the same color family as the blush and lip color.

APPLICATION: Apply the base eye shadow to the entire eyelid, starting at the lash line and going all the way up to the brow bone. Then apply the accent eye shadow in the center of the eye starting at the lash line and going up to the brow bone.

TIP: Eye Liner enhances the shape of the eyes making them appear larger, intensifies natural eye color, and boosts mascara making eyes look bigger. Base selection on preferred shade and blend ability.

APPLICATION: Line the upper eyelid 2/3 of the way from the inner eye as close to the lashes as possible, then line the lower eyelid 1/3 of the way from the outer eye as close to the lashes as possible. Don't line the entire eye because it can make the eye look smaller.

TIP: Your eye brows frame your eyes, create an expression for your face and define and set the shape of the brows. Select a shade of brow pencil that matches or is slightly darker than your natural brow. The best length for the brows is to begin just above the inner corner of the eye and extend slightly past the outer corner.

APPLICATION: Use soft feathery strokes to fill in color; starting at the inner corner and going to the outer corner. Comb or brush the upper part of the brow for a lift.

TIP: Blush adds color and glow to the face. Select from the same color family as the lip color and eye shadow. Intensity (light, medium, or dark) should match skin tone; a common error is to go too dark.

APPLICATION: Starting at the center of the cheek; brush outward and upward toward the hairline right above the ear. Use a back and forth motion to make sure you blend it evenly.

TIP: Mascara makes lashes appear longer, thicker, and darker. It also makes eyes look wider and more open. Select mascara based on the benefits and features such as all-purpose, thickening, or waterproof. Black works for most skin tones.

APPLICATION: Hold the wand in a vertical position and color the ends of the lashes with a back and forth motion like a windshield wiper. Then turn the wand to the horizontal position and sweep upward on the upper lashes. Wiggle the brush back and forth to completely cover the lashes with color. Let dry and reapply. It is better to apply lots of thin coats rather than one thick one. Only apply 1 coat to lower lashes. Don't pump mascara; it makes it dry out faster.

TIP: Lip liner defines the shape of the lip and prevents lipstick from feathering or bleeding. Select lip liner based on ease of application, how long it lasts, and shade or color family.

APPLICATION: To apply draw a smooth line from the center of the upper lip to the corner and repeat on the other side. Then draw a smooth line from corner to corner of the bottom lip. You should have at least one lip liner for each lipstick color family you select.

TIP: Lipstick changes your look and your mood dramatically. It colors, defines, shapes and protects lips and balances the face and brings out the eyes. Select lipstick based on: shade, coverage, and finish. Lipstick can change your whole attitude and your expression.

APPLICATION: Apply lipstick inside the lip liner either directly from the lipstick or with a lip brush. For long lasting wear blot lips with a tissue and apply a light dusting of powder and then reapply lipstick.
With practice you can put your best face forward in only 5 minutes.
Additional tips to remember:

For a more natural look, use shades equal to intensity and undertone, use matte shades instead of glimmer and apply less rather than more.
For a dramatic look, use deeper or darker shades, use shimmer shades and apply more.
To emphasize a specific feature, select a shade one intensity lighter or darker.
When you finish the makeover take a step back and look at the full picture. Then you can make adjustments as necessary.
Practice on someone you feel comfortable with like a friend or family member.
Most importantly: Have fun!!

People are always looking for the perfect skin and anti aging creams and products to reduce visible wrinkles and make them look younger.

Men and women want smooth looking skin without spots, lines and wrinkles and to reverse the aging of their skin, having it look like it did when they were young. Unfortunately, the skin and anti aging creams cannot give people their youth back but it can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Depending upon the ingredients, most of the skin and anti aging eye creams will have light diffusing and firming ingredients but only use products near the eyes made specifically for eyes.

Skin and anti aging treatmentshould include your entire body and not just the lines or spots on your face. Eating properly, getting enough rest, and exercise will help you feel younger and stay in shape. Exercise increases the skin blood flow and circulation, resulting in new skin growth and sweating, which releases impurities and toxins from the skin. Following a skin and anti aging treatment program helps prevent wrinkles, lines, and age spots while making your skin look glowing and younger.

It is extremely important to use an excellent moisturizer with vitamin C as part of your skin and anti aging care program because the older you get, the dryer your skin normally becomes. Exfoliating on a regular basis to eliminate dead skin cells is important because it allows the growth of new skin. Along with removing dead skin, when you exfoliate you will notice a visible difference almost immediately as your skin looks younger and your face glows. Vitamin C in a skin and anti aging moisturizer will help counteract age spots and lighten them. What Are Scarves?

Scarves are the perfect fashion accessory, whether you are looking for warmth or style or even a little bit of both. Often overlooked in women's fashion, scarves are one of the most versatile pieces around. They can be worn as outerwear or simply just to spice up a boring outfit.
Scarves have been around for thousands of years, if Chinese sculptures representing fringed rectangles of fabric are to be believed. In the last half century, particularly, scarves have been part and parcel of old Hollywood glamour. Celebrities and fashion icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Lana Turner and Grace Kelly and many others are all known for wearing scarves, tied in many different ways. Amazingly glamorous and utterly fabulous, the scarf is a staple in every fashionable woman's closet.

Silk scarves are especially popular, as well as scarves made from fabrics such as cotton, heavy wool knits, rayon, poly-blends or polyester. Scarves can also come in plains or prints, depending on the setting or the fashion of the period. These days, scarves are commonly made from silk or rayon, which both give the scarf a shimmery finish as well as a light, graceful, fluid movement. Other common fabrics include cotton and wool, which are rather heavier and often come in textured finishes.

Depending on its use, scarves can come in many different shapes and sizes. There are kerchiefs and bandanas which are smaller in size, generally measuring 14 to 16 inches on one side. Large shawl-like scarves can reach up to about 48 inches on one side. There are even rectangular or oblong scarves, triangular scarves aside from the traditional square scarves. Some have fringed edges, some have fused edges and still others hemmed edges. They can also come in a wide variety of colors. They can be tie-dyed, batik dyed. Some many have woven patterns, and others many have solid colors. The possibilities are simply endless.

If you are planning to wear scarves when going out, it is advisable to look for styles that provide warmth and thickness. The best scarves for this are generally the closely knit and are somewhat bulkier than the dressy variety. Some merchandisers sell scarves with matching hats, mittens or gloves. Scarves for outerwear are usually made from angora, which are made from lush materials, or the simpler ones that are made from fleece or flannel. There are also extra long scarves that can be wrapped around the neck over and over, or the shorter ones which can be tucked into the coat or the jacket to keep the chest and neck warm.

If you're simply using scarves to complement your outfit, you really can't go wrong with beautiful silk scarves. Other types that are also good as fashion accessories include scarves made from cashmere, angora, chenille or velvet. Embroidered scarves are also particularly nice, especially when worn with a sweater, blouse or suit. There are many varied ways to tie scarves, all guaranteed to turn a plain, boring outfit into a definite fashion statement.

Hair Care Tips For Problem Hair by Elizabeth Roth

Not everyone has the beautiful, lustrous hair that you see on the television fashion models. Most people have at least something that they do not like about their hair. It might be too straight or too curly. They might not like the color. Maybe they are going gray earlier than they would like, or their hair has been damaged from too many styling products. No matter what the damage, there are things that can be done to help hair recover.

In addition, there are things that can be done to make hair better and more manageable while it recovers. In other words, recovery takes time, but there are things that you can do to make your hair look better while you are waiting. These are the kinds of things that most women - and men who have trouble with their hair - are not aware of. They really do not think about it. Instead, they focus on the recovery of their hair and think that they just have to live with it until it gets better. In some cases this may be true, but usually there is something that can be done besides wearing a wig or a hat!

For people with very straight hair, there are some options. Shampoos and conditioners exist that are designed to help these people have more body in their hair. Often straight hair is limp and lifeless, and adding some extra body will help this out immensely. There are other people with straight hair, though, who have plenty of hair - it just does not want to do anything but hang there. For these people, a body creating product might be helpful, but they may also want to do something more, such as getting a permanent wave to give their hair some curl. These products are much better than they used to be, and the results last longer and look better than in the past. People with straight hair might also consider having it cut in a short style or keeping it pulled back most of the time so that it does not hang in their face too much.

For the opposite end of the spectrum - people with naturally curly hair - they can have it straightened. There are products to do this, and there are also flat irons that will take the curl out of hair temporarily. Having it chemically straightened will last longer, but it also is much harder on the hair and should be done professionally for best results. A flat iron can be used at home, but it does take a little bit of time to flatten and straighten all of the hair. Frizzy hair is also a problem. However, what causes the frizz is important to know so that it can be corrected.

One of the most common causes of frizzy hair is split ends. For this problem, the ends often have to be cut off. If the hair is very long and the frizz problem has gone on for a long time, cutting the hair short may be the only alternative. There are products designed to repair split ends but they do not work on very severe cases and they do not work overnight. Checking with a good stylist can make all the difference.

Luxury Handbags - Choose 3 Essential Bags For Your Fashion Wardrobe

Every woman needs an elegant handbag. It is more than a fashion accessory, as it reflects your style, personality and look; it is with you all day long and keeps all your essentials safe and accessible; it puts the finishing touch to your whole image, so the finding the right bag is an important and often overwhelming decision.

How do you choose between all the many styles of luxury bags available today? If you can afford to go mad and buy a bag to go with each outfit, then you don't have a problem (except for needing more closet space!) but those of us with a more limited budget can invest in three good quality handbags to meet all our needs and still maintain a stylish and elegant image.

1.First of all you need a handbag that reflects your professional image to wear to work every day and complement your business wardrobe. Invest in excellent quality leather and good sleek design. Classic styles such as a crocodile or ostrich Birkins or Kelly bags, in black or neutral colors, work well and will be an investment that will last you for years, as those styles never go out of fashion. Make sure the inside of the handbag is as well designed as the exterior, with plenty of pockets and compartments to keep work papers and personal items organised and easily accessible.

2.You also need a casual bag for leisure time and weekends. Choose one of the current, fun, fashionable styles, which are big and roomy and come in a huge range of colors: a soft, sensual python hobo that fits comfortably over your shoulder or a bright tote with loads of room and long handles to tuck over your shoulder. Think carefully about the color. Will it work for both winter and summer? Is it a color that will work next year too? This bag is the one that should reflect your youthful and fun-loving inner self, so indulge yourself with this choice. Go for classic styles for your work and evening bags and have fun with this one!

3.Last of all for a basic handbag wardrobe, you need an elegant evening bag. If you go out a lot you may want more than one to suit different events and outfits, but for now if you are choosing just one, go for a timeless classic that will last for years, like a simple clutch with a removable chain shoulder strap for versatility, in python or crocodile leather. Black is always a safe and glamorous choice, but neutrals like cream or brown are also endlessly versatile, withstand the changes of fashion and will last you for years.

Once you have these three basics in your handbag wardrobe you can add to them gradually over the years. Just make sure that you invest in top quality bags, which will reflect your stylish and elegant image. Luxury handbags may not be cheap but the investment pays off as they still look just as beautiful and chic after many years of use, so you can build up a fine collection of elegant bags over time.

I took an Online Personality Test iut of boredom and can't stop smiling when I read the result hehe... I hope it's true

Your score on this personality test was 67%

Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. MORE SEX AND THE CITY

Read a review of the movie and it doesn't sound very flattering... Please read below (as reviewed by Emanuel Levy at http://www.emanuellevy.com/. Love this website!)

In theory, the eagerly awaited film adaptation fo "Sex and the City" sounds like a good idea-—and a lot of fun; after all, four whole years have passed since the hit show ended--too long for the fans to wait. In reality, though, this "transfer" of the long-running TV show proves that what had worked so well on the small screen is not particularly effective or entertaining on the big-screen--not for two and a half hours!Sadly, what was witty, savvy, cool, and sexy in the hit TV series has turned into an indulgent, overlong (146 minutes to be precise), and largely middlebrow affair, with a larger than needed or expected dosage of bourgeois morality and schmaltzy tone, perhaps a reflection of the fact that the women are now a decade older than they were when the show began (in 1998).Yes, it's good to see the Fab Four--the charming Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte—together again, parading their Louis Vuitton handbags, Manolo Blahnik shoes, and bigger bags of emotional and sexual problems. But any hopes that "Sex and the City" would be a nice companion piece to the superlative chic and fun fare "The Devil Wears Prada," are crushed right after the first reel.Indeed, as conceived and directed by Michael Patrick King, the creative force behind the TV show, this version hovers somewhere in a limbo between TV and movie land. Basically, the saga feels like five or six episodes glued or stitched together not in a particularly engaging, savvy, or original way.For six seasons, HBO brought to life Candace Bushnell's provocative bestselling book, "Sex and the City," turning the show into an upscale, trend-setting phenomenon, popular all over the world. It was HBO's most popular and critically acclaimed prime time show.

SEX AND THE CITY THE MOVIE

Owh God I can't wait to watch the movie!! Those in the States, save this date : MAY 30th.

The ladies arrived at the German pink carpet premiere of Sex and the City in Berlin earlier today! Seems like the premieres just keep getting bigger and bigger, I can only imagine what the New York premiere will be like!!! SJP wore a nude-colored strapless gown with subtle ribbon detail at the top that looks familiar. Cynthia Nixon stunned with sleek hair and a flowing black v-neck gown. Kristin Davis was in a deep green 40s style dress with a full knee-length skirt and Kim Cattrall wore a orange colored number with an odd patchwork of fabric pieces that didn’t flatter her.

Anyways, I love their wardrobes, their shoes, their clutches and handbags, their girly talks, everything!

I think Sarah Jessica Parker is one lucky gal.. she is not thatttt pretty but she could make it big time. Don't you think?

VICTORIA BECKHAM EXPLAINS GLUM SHOTS

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has blamed the way her "face falls" for her moody look.
Victoria Beckham has blamed nature for her moody look. "When I see pictures I do sometimes think 'You miserable cow'," she explained to GMTV. "But I think it's just the way my face falls. If people like the way I look then great, and if they don't then fine." During the interview she also explained why she can't go to the gym, "I could go to the gym if I wore flats, I'd love to go to the gym, but I just can't get my head around the footwear!” And admitted her singing days are now over, "I loved the whole social thing of being back with the girls - it was so much fun. And I loved the kids watching me going, 'Wow! This is what mummy used to do.' Rather than just moan, you know, 'Do your homework and clean your teeth'. But I'm not going to sing any more - I've hung my microphone up." Can we get that in writing?
Anyhows... I still love you VB!! You're POSH!
